TMW: Milan offer €5m to sign promising Red Star striker this month – the latest

By Isak Möller -

With Pietro Pellegri expected to leave the club earlier than expected, AC Milan are now looking for another young striker on the market. It seems they have already identified their target, having made a €5m offer.

Pellegri has played just 127 minutes this season and Milan tried to sign him permanently from Monaco, before loaning him out to Torino. However, as an agreement wasn’t reached, the striker will return to France and then join Torino on loan.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan have already identified a potential replacement in Marko Lazetic. The 18-year-old currently plays for Red Star Belgrade and has scored one goal for the first team (just 370 minutes played this season).

Milan have even put forward a €5m offer to secure the services of the youngster this month, keen on bringing him in. It should also be noted, as the report concludes, that Torino also had their eyes on Lazetic before opting for Pellegri.

Daniele Longo adds that the Rossoneri are about to close the operation.
