Divock Origi is no longer part of the project at AC Milan and the Belgian is destined to leave the club this summer. However, finding him a new club has been far from easy as he only wants a return to the Premier League.
Origi scored just two goals for Milan last season and given that he earns €4m per year net, the Rossoneri are far from happy with the signing. In fact, they are keen on offloading the 28-year-old this summer.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the striker has said no to Saudi Arabia (much to Milan’s dismay) and only wants a return to the Premier League. West Ham are keeping tabs on the situation after parting ways with Gianluca Scamacca and could perhaps make a move.
The report suggests that the situation has changed ‘in the last few hours’, with Origi getting closer to a return to England. It remains to be seen how much Milan can cash in from his departure but given that he arrived as a free transfer, they are not forced to collect a certain amount to avoid a loss.
atleast 4m for his wage
then he can go
with origi gone we have to find 1 striker, and 1 backup that starts 4-6 games per season.
or if pioli can adapt to false 9, then we have all we need a backup midfielder or left winger, depends on where we put pulisic. with this chukweze will be starting most of the games, which we wanted for his development
I think he gonna stay and it cant be avoided that Colombo will go on loan.
We need to pay a tax penalty of about 2m if he only stays one season, so would be nice to at least cover that expense with a transfer fee. However we cannot be choosy with that situation.
Where is that source?
If West Ham are genuinely interested they’ll pay like 4mn or whatever, the fee won’t be a problem. And his wages are big for us but not really in EPL.
It’s more the phrasing of this article. I don’t think Origi is pushing for anything, he seems quite happy to do a samu castillejo and just be benchwarmer collecting his wage.
