TMW: Milan among four Serie A clubs interested in Napoli midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are one of four Serie A teams that are linked with a move for Napoli and Italy midfielder Michael Folorunsho.

As reported by TMW, the Rossoneri could make a move for the former Hellas Verona midfielder although it would only happen if they are able to sell a player first to make space in the squad.

The likely scenario would be one or both of Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli leaving the club, but neither appear very close to departing right now.

Folorunsho was a part of the Italy squad at Euro 2024 but he had very little involvement. He joined Napoli one year ago but spent the previous season on loan at Verona.

Atalanta showed interest earlier in the summer but the injury to Gianluca Scamacca means that there money needs to be spent on a striker. That being said, the potential sale of Teun Koopmeiners to Juventus would see them return to the equation for Folorunsho.

Elsewhere, Fiorentina could make a move if they fail to sign Tanner Tessmann from Venezia, whilst Lazio have spoken to the player’s agents whom they have a good existing relationship with.

Either Atalanta or Lazio seem more plausible for the 26-year-old as things stand.

    1. What about Fofana Furlani?????????????????
Furlani has lost this target as well to Man Utd?
What does Furlani and Moncada do for Milan.
Spur’s defender still not signed Furlani?
Striker still not signed Furlani, or is Moncada doing another deal with a player that will be on the transfer market next time round?

Milan is floundering in the transfer market and the only one who has done anything is Ibrahimovic, so why do Milan need Mocada and Furlani on the boys at Milan?
