Diogo Dalot was called up by the Portuguese national team in the last second as Joao Cancelo tested positive for COVID-19. It has put his future slightly on hold, but it seems a decision has been made already by the player.
According to Marco Conterio of TuttoMercatoWeb, Dalot has decided that he wants to stay at Milan after what was a successful loan spell this past season. The Rossoneri also want to keep the player, looking for a right-back on the market.

Dalot and Milan are now waiting for a response from Man Utd, as a request has been submitted for the loan to be extended. It remains to be seen if there will be a buy-out clause in the new deal.
Either way, the right-back is on the same page as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara regarding the future. The latter director, in particular, is a great admirer of the former Porto player.
