After the renewals of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, AC Milan are now ready to make some moves on the transfer market. One of the players on their radar is Hakim Ziyech and new contacts have been held.
Stefano Pioli, the manager of Milan, has asked for a versatile attacking midfielder who can play both in the middle and on the right. It’s these two positions that the Rossoneri struggled with the most this past season, clearly in need of a reinforcement.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, now that Maldini and Massara have renewed, work has been resumed on the market. The directors are insisting on signing Ziyech from Chelsea on a loan deal and new contacts with the English side have taken place.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of the interest will be. A lot will depend on the solution for Ziyech’s salary, which is too high for Milan. The interest, however, is concrete and Maldini will give it a good go.
