TMW: Milan closely following young Empoli duo ahead of the summer

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are expected to make some reinforcements in the summer after a disappointing campaign in the league. And two of their signings could arrive from Empoli, who held the Rossoneri to a 0-0 draw at the weekend.

Milan have struggled above all in the attacking phase this season and the management is well aware of this. However, another weakness that has been highlighted is the lack of a decent left-back deputy.

Fode Ballo-Toure has failed to impress and he will leave the club at the end of the season. According to Niccolo Ceccarini, in his latest editorial for TMW, Milan are interested in Empoli left-back Fabio Parisi (22 years) for next season.

In addition to Parisi, as the journalist continues, the Rossoneri are also keeping a close eye on Empoli’s playmaker Tommaso Baldanzi. The 20-year-old has scored four goals his season and several big clubs are interested, including city rivals Inter. A mercato derby could thus be on the cards.

  1. So, what did everyone think?

The game against Milan was the best I’ve seen Parisi play in the 5 or 6 games I’ve watched. It wasn’t much.

Baldanzi was largely ineffectual with an opposition putting work into him.

I’m impatient to see Milan full of Italians but I have grave doubts about both of these players.

    1. Lol I said the same thing in a different article. What was so special about Baldzani 😅
I saw absolutely nothing. He looks like a younger version of Krunic, slightly quicker and a tad better offensively but nothing to write home about. I fail to see why with that performance articles still pumping out like he’s the next coming or something
