TMW: Miranda to Milan now a ‘certainty’ – only one thing remains to be decided

By Oliver Fisher -

Juan Miranda will become a new AC Milan player, a report has claimed, and the only uncertainty is about whether he arrives in the winter or next summer.

TMW reports that Milan practically finalised an agreement with Miranda over personal terms last week. The Spanish left-back’s contract with Real Betis expires next June and he is convinced by the idea of continuing his career with the Rossoneri.

The parties have spoken in recent days to define an agreement which is now practically completed, but now Milan must make a decision. The management must decide whether to try to bring the player to Milan in January or wait for June.

In the second case, the contract will be deposited after the winter transfer window and will have a duration of five years, officially coming into force from 1 July 2024.

If they were to try bring the arrival forward, an agreement must be reached on compensation with Betis, a club that already knows they will lose him for nothing at the end of the season and the contract will last four and a half years. The ‘certainty’ is that Miranda will be a new Milan player, in January or June.
