TMW: From Musah to Morata – the latest on 10 names linked with Milan

The phone lines are hot for the AC Milan management at the moment as they continue to work on a number of different signings, a report claims.

Niccolo Ceccarini writes in his latest editorial for TMW that the Milan market has reached a crucial point. After the sale of Sandro Tonali, the first signing secured was Ruben Loftus-Cheek but it is clear that he is not enough to raise the level in midfield.

Midfield: Other profiles are on the list. Lazar Samardzic and Morten Hjulmand were evaluated but the management are looking at other options such as Tijjani Reijnders. However, AZ Alkmaar’s asking price is currently judged to be very high but work is ongoing to lower their demands.

Another lead to follow is the one that leads to Yunus Musah of Valencia. The player’s approval is already there but an agreement with the Spanish club remains to be found, and they want €25m. Davide Frattesi is an option too, with Inter and Roma in the running as well.

Wingers: Milan are still pressing for Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze but the real big problem is the valuation of the Spanish club, who are asking for more than €35m to sell. Adama Traorè is an alternative, whose contract with Wolverhampton is about to expire.

Milan also continue to insist on Christian Pulisic, who has already given his availability for a possible transfer to the Rossoneri. The negotiations with Chelsea to find the right terms are going on.

Striker: Alvaro Morata is a name on the list, who could leave Atletico Madrid. In short, the situation is evolving somewhat in all sectors. However, what must be factored in is that Milan have one slot available to register a non-EU player.

Daichi Kamada has already had an agreement in place with Milan for some time but the conclusion has not yet been reached for this very reason.
