Another team has joined the race to sign Diego Laxalt from AC Milan this summer, according to a report.
One of the situations that hasn’t received much media attention in recent days is the one concerning Milan’s left-back spot despite suggestions earlier in the summer that Laxalt was desperate to leave.
However, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported earlier today that Sporting Lisbon have asked for information on Laxalt. Milan’s asking price at the moment is around €10m, but they only need €7-8m to avoid a capital loss.
According to the latest from TMW, the Rossoneri could also sell Laxalt, a player who is popular in Russia but also in Portugal and Greece.
Spartak Moscow are keen, but the outlet adds that Sporting CP and Olympiakos are both ready to formulate a loan offer, which would include an option to make the deal permanent in summer 2021.
