TMW: Pre-season vital for Nasti amid Fonseca’s assessment and Serie A interest

The main focus of the summer will be the upcoming mercato, which is understandable. However, AC Milan must also evaluate the youth talent they have available to ensure their growth continues at a good rate.

There is much to do this summer, and Milan are well aware of this, several positions will be targeted, and a manager will be hired, though it seems the appointment will be made shortly, and as reports have stated for a while, it will be Paulo Fonseca.

It is an ideal time to enter the club, given there is a large budget available for the Rossoneri to utilise, but there is also a fantastic amount of young talent in the ranks who could play a key role in the squad during the next season, and pre-season will offer Fonseca a chance to look into these players himself.

According to TMW (via Radio Rossonera), one of the players who will be watched with interest is Marco Nasti, who has just returned from Bari, where he scored seven goals in Serie B, and the report suggests that the road ahead is already mapped.

Once the training camp begins, Fonseca will assess him, but it is almost certain he will depart again on loan, with Serie A and Serie B teams taking an interest in his situation. According to the report, Hellas Verona are the leading admirer, but Cremonese and Frosinone are also taking stock.
