Daniel Maldini, son of club legend Paolo Maldini, wasn’t the only youngster that impressed in the game against Monza on Saturday evening. Gabriele Bellodi was another one, starting in defence along with Leo Duarte.
The 20-year-old recently returned to the Rossoneri from his loan spell at Crotone, which ended with the Calabrian side earning promotion to Serie A. In the game against Monza, he was impressive and managed to cover for Duarte’s disastrous performance.
Bellodi aims to fight for a spot at Milan but several Serie B clubs are following him, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb. Ascoli, Pisa and Salernitana are all looking for a young profile to reinforce their defence with.
In the coming weeks, they will probe the ground with Milan to find out if a loan deal is possible before the window closes. Although the Rossoneri need to reinforce their defence, another loan experience might be the best path for Bellodi.
