TMW: Transfer triangle between Milan, Real Madrid and Man Utd ensues – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could find themselves involved in a transfer triangle involving Real Madrid and Manchester United, according to a report.

TMW have given information on a right-back merry-go-round of sorts, in which the protagonists are Milan and Real Madrid. Diogo Dalot has given his approval to stay at Milan having spent last season on a dry loan from United, and his priority is to return to the Rossoneri.

The Rossoneri are also vigorously examining the idea of signing Alvaro Odriozola from Real Madrid, a defender outside of Carlo Ancelotti’s project who could arrive from Los Blancos on loan. That is why Real have tested the ground on signing Dalot as an alternative in the role of right-back, a hypothesis also appreciated by the Italian coach Ancelotti.

Dalot is currently at the 2020 European Championships with Portugal, where he was called up at the last second in place of Joao Cancelo who tested positive for Covid-19.
