TMW: Two key Leizpig figures to join Rangnick at Milan – Massara and Moncada set to stay

By Oliver Fisher -

Milan could be set to make two changes to their organisational chart with the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, according to a report.

So far there has always been talk of the double role he would play, and we reported via our correspondent Vito Angele on Thursday evening that Rangnick will indeed agree a role as manager – that is the double responsibility of head coach and the man in charge of the transfer market.

In fact , as Tuttomercatoweb reports (via MilanLive), Laurence Stewart could also join Rangnick for an adventure in Italy, and he is currently the scouting coordinator of the Red Bull group.

The report adds that in all likelihood Paul Mitchel – who takes care of the sporting director role at Leipzig – would also arrive in a role related to scouting.

Current Milan head of scouting Geoffrey Moncada would get a kind of promotion, and would be more and more involved, while Paolo Maldini is leaving.

However, the outlet claims that in a surprising turn of events current sporting director Riccardo Massara could stay, as he is destined to be the Italian reference of the new management group.
