Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is set to sit down for crunch talks over his future this week with AC Milan ‘attentive’, a report claims.
The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Torreira over the summer, with persistent speculation that Milan were interested in reuniting him with then head coach Marco Giampaolo.
Ultimately though he ended up staying as the Gunners reportedly slapped a price tag of at least €40million on the former Sampdoria man.
However, according to TMW – as cited by MilanNews.it – Torreira is ‘not happy’ with his season at Arsenal thus far as he is repeatedly being played out of position.
The report claims that his agent will fly to England for talks over his client’s future and if the response is not positive, the 23-year-old may leave Arsenal by mutual agreement.
Milan, having been linked so heavily in the summer, are said to be ‘closely following the evolution of the story’ to see if Torreira wants to bring his Arsenal adventure to an end.
