AC Milan have been preparing for the season opener against Bologna all week but still have a few more days of training. As the game is scheduled for Monday, Stefano Pioli and his men have been given a bit more time.
Napoli and Inter, for example, will start their respective seasons today and the other rivals will play tomorrow. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, will play on Monday evening and this has given them a few more days to prepare.
There will be a training session this morning (Saturday), as per the official website, and they will also likely have one tomorrow. Of course, Pioli hasn’t introduced anything new in the last few days, instead working on the details of his game plan.
The late kick-off will backfire slightly for Milan as they will play the second round against Torino on Saturday, getting just three days of proper training (on Tuesday they will work in the gym).
