Tomori says Milan ‘have to win’ against Fiorentina and reflects on ‘crazy’ Camarda

Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Fiorentina, Fikayo Tomori spoke to the media about the Rossoneri’s situation. After a poor month domestically, the defender made it clear that they need to win tonight.

Milan have collected just two points in the last four league games and are now in desperate need of three points. Tonight’s game, as such, is a must-win for the Rossoneri but it won’t be easy given several key absences.

Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Tomori shared his thoughts on tonight’s clash. He made it clear that Milan need to focus on themselves, even though Fiorentina are a very strong side.

On the game…

“We have to win and collect points, against Fiorentina it won’t be easy because they are a strong team, but we can only think about ourselves. The passing record in Serie A? I’m happy, because it means that we manage the ball well, I hope to do more and more.”

On Camarda…

“What I saw was a bit crazy, he’s 15 years old. At 15 I wasn’t like that. He moves well in the area. If the whole team enters the field we will certainly help him. I’m happy for him, the most important thing tonight is the victory.”

Francesco Camarda, the 15-year-old striker, will be on the bench for Milan and it remains to be seen if he will play. Most likely not, but it’s worth mentioning that he’s the only striker on the bench, and Luka Jovic might not be able to play the entire game.
