A number of AC Milan players have posted on social media after the first friendly of the summer which took place on Saturday against Rapid Wien.
Milan began their friendly campaign with a 1-1 draw against Rapid at the Allianz Stadion and Paulo Fonseca named a young starting line-up given the amount of absences he has to contend with. Mattia Liberali, Chaka Traore, Lorenzo Colombo, Daniel Maldini and Alex Jimenez all featured.
Alessandro Florenzi got the opening goal of the game with a lovely volley from Maldini’s cross, but Demir came off the bench to snatch a late equaliser for Rapid as the proverbial spoils were shared in front of a rather lively home crowd.
Fikayo Tomori posted on Instagram and proudly showed off the armband that he wore in the second half.
Ismael Bennacer posted the message: “A month to prepare as best as possible.”
Yacine Adli added: “First preparation match. Let’s go!”
