Fikayo Tomori could make a move on deadline day, with an offer from Fulham on the table being evaluated.
It has been a strange summer for Tomori, and not in a positive way. He probably hoped to stay and fight for a place under Ruben Amorim, however the new head coach made it clear that he does not consider him to be a part of his plans.

In fact, the Englishman ended up in the ‘bomb squad’ – a group of players training separately until their agents found them a new club. Despite this, there has also been talk that Tomori is willing to dig in and remain beyond the window, just to stay at Milan.
Now, Luca Bianchin has reported the following: “Fikayo Tomori has a proposal from Fulham on the table and is considering it. Not easy to close in just a few hours. Milan have no intention of including him in the squad list for the season.”
For Tomori it would be a return to west London, having spent many years at Fulham’s rivals Chelsea. Alvaro Arbeloa is the man in charge there, and in the coming hours we will learn if a return to the capital is enough to convince the defender

From Tomori’s POV, there are lots of reasons he may prefer to sit it out. Milan haven’t exactly treated him with any respect, so maybe he’d prefer to be a free agent than have to accept deals that are only available from a few clubs now. If he stays, it’s in Milan’s interest to pay up a percentage of his contract to let him go (‘mutual termination’), then he can get a signing fee and higher salary at a club of his choice.

But Amorim doesnt consider him a fit for his system. He wouldnt take a wage hit joining an EPL club and would get game time. Here he would not, his attributes can suit many systems, just not ours.

I can list hundreds of forgettable players who have won league titles, what’s your point? That he was available for a pittance and still only attracted limited interest tells you everything about his standing. He’s an average defender who was carried in the scudetto winning season by Kjaer. Since this the limitations that show him discarded by Chelsea have come to the fore. He isn’t particularly big for a CB, his decision making is dreadful.
What a silly comment. Tomori isn’t a good player and lacks leadership qualities and generally seems like a poor teammate. This is a guy who couldn’t mark paper with a pen yet is the first one to yell at his teammates when something goes wrong…

Milan managed to cut losses with a lot of last minute departure.
Notice is not all departures were full covered by other clubs but still, for Milan and all those players in best interest is that they give 100% of themselves in new clubs, how they would manage to continue their careers.
Because new players are producing all around the world and if they dont step up they will finish their careers.
For now I believe Ricci Nkunku Gimenez and later hopefully Fofana will manage to get through and departure from Milan.
