Fikayo Tomori has joked that the goal he scored against Juventus was one he and Olivier Giroud had been working on on the training ground.

Tomori got the first goal of the game after a corner was not cleared and Olivier Giroud thumped an effort at his midriff, with the Englishman then turning and firing into the roof of the net. In the second half Brahim Diaz doubled the lead after stealing the ball, dribbling through on goal and slotting in as the Rossoneri won 2-0.
At the end of the match against Juventus, Tomori spoke with DAZN to reflect on the performance and of course what is a very important result, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
On the goal: “Giroud and I tried this scheme in training (he smiles). We had a bit of luck, but I’m happy for the goal and for the victory.”
On having scored against Juventus again: “Every match against Juve is important, I’m happy to score, but the most important thing is the three points.”
On the reaction after Chelsea: “We have another game against them. We want to do better on the pitch both in terms of performance and results. There was an extra desire after the Champions League. Now let’s think about Tuesday and try to win.”
On Kalulu’s rescue: “He had a great game, he saved a goal on Kean.”
