Fikayo Tomori is the subject of interest from clubs in the Premier League and a late exit cannot be ruled out, according to a report.

Sky report that as Alvaro Morata’s farewell from Milan approaches, the situation regarding Tomori must be monitored. The former Chelsea defender was first linked with Juventus, then he was taken off the market, but at this moment with the right offer he could leave too.

In the last few hours Aston Villa – who have already qualified for the Champions League round of 16 – have started to come forward for him again. The English have the money to sign him after selling Jhon Durán to Saudi Arabia.

As for the defender’s stance, he has realised that not even with the change in head coach to Sérgio Conceiçao will he have a guaranteed starting place at Milan, so he would accept the idea of a move to Villa as per the report.

What remains to be seen is whether Villa put forward a package that can convince Milan to sell this late in the mercato. Not only that, but there would surely be the requirement for a replacement to be found, given that Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw are currently out injured.

  1. Please sell him. Thank you for the scudetto season, but our defensive performance is better without him. Too distracted, poor reading and a liability with the ball. Zagreb was another proof. He is very strong and fast in duels, but this is not sufficient for a high level CB. With the money we get from him we can try to find a replacement. We need him from the derby as both Gabbia and Thiaw are out, but than he can go and we find a replacement with the money we get.

    1. The fact you included Gabbia in your paragraph but failed to mention it was his cock up that put us behind; and yet want to sell Tam says it all!

      1. A mistake like the one of Gabbia is clearly unlikely to repeat and partially due to bad pitch. Tomori makes multiple mistakes in his positioning and reading of situations. He either goes too aggressive or leaves too much space. And with the ball he is really bad, his passing can only be short and safe, he is unable to cut the pressing lines or play a precise long ball like Thiaw or Gabbia.

  2. It’s sad to see how some people want to get rid of players of who i believed, and still do to be a foundation of the Scudetto-team. But how can many of those players find a cohesive in the club when everything is shifting on and off whiting a half year to a year. Klopp for example had to use 3-4 seasons to build the team that still exists today.

  3. I’m for selling Tomori but not when Gabbia and Thiaw are injured, FFS. No worries! We can play the derby with Pavlovic and KYLE WALKER as CBs. 5-0 Inter. No wait, 5-1 Inter, as KYLE WALKER is also our Mr. X striker that we’ve been waiting for for 3 seasons and he will score on his debut.
