The spine of the AC Milan side that takes on Empoli this weekend is expected to be Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali and Charles De Ketelaere, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today (via Milan News), they are the three players that will be expected to lead Milan towards victory against the Tuscans on Saturday evening at the Castellani.
Tomori has become the main defender at the club in recent weeks but it remains to be seen if he will be partnered with Pierre Kalulu or Simon Kjaer for this match which kicks off at 20:45 local time.
It is expected that Tommaso Pobega will be taking the midfield spot alongside Sandro Tonali which makes the latter the senior player in the central midfield.
As for De Ketelaere, the coach has repeatedly shown faith in his talents and he could be the chief creator against Empoli on Saturday night.
