The AC Milan squad are currently on their way to Sardinia for tomorrow night’s game against Cagliari, and some updates regarding team news have arrived.
According to MilanNews, the mild flu that hit Sandro Tonali at the start of the week and the knock suffered in yesterday’s training session by Brahim Diaz will not rule either player out of the game against Cagliari, as they will leave together with the team.
However, the duo will be on the bench given their suboptimal condition. Therefore, Rade Krunic will start in the attacking trident alongside Junior Messias and Rafael Leao behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud.
Tiemoué Bakayoko is back at the disposal of Pioli after having got rid of his recent physical problems, so he will be available too. Kessie and Ismael Bennacer are therefore seemingly nailed on to be the starting double pivot with Tonali an option for the game in progress.
