Reports have suggested that he was essentially forced out of the club and whilst his departure helped the club financially, many are frustrated that it happened as it did.
Nevertheless, the links did not die despite the manner of his exit and he remains very fond of the Rossoneri, as one would imagine.
Tonali admits Milan desire
Indeed, with every mercato, it feels like there is a new rumour about his future and how the Diavolo are involved and this summer was no different. This time, it was less about a return and more about the money they’d earn from his Newcastle departure.
Now, with his departure from the Magpies confirmed, he is heading to London, but he was intercepted by reporters at Milan Malpensa airport, and he offered a few words, as Antonio Vitiello captured.
