Sandro Tonali is eager to make a huge impact when he returns from suspension for AC Milan against Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana final, a report suggests.
As has been reported by Milan News, Tonali is expected to come straight back into the starting lineup after he was forced to miss the recent Serie A match against Lecce due to a suspension.
His absence was felt in Puglia as Milan could only manage a 2-2 draw having gone in at half-time 2-0 down at the Stadio Via del Mare.
He will be back available for selection for the match against Inter in Saudi Arabia and Stefano Pioli is expected to put him back alongside Ismael Bennacer at the first time of asking.
The Supercoppa final has taken on an unexpected level of importance in the wake of a poor start to 2023 for the Rossoneri.
A trophy win could be the boost that Milan needs to improve their league form.
