Sandro Tonali has been one of AC Milan’s best players at the start of this season, following what was a mediocre first year with the club. He’s been heavily praised and now the midfielder has thanked a teammate.
As you would have expected, despite making just one appearance for Milan this season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been very important for his teammates. By being present, he managed to motivate the youngsters like no one else.
Tonali has bagged two goals and has also put in several MOTM performances at the start of the season, shining in the midfield tandem. Just last night, albeit not with Milan, he bagged two assists for Italy’s U21 side.
In his interview with Rai Sport after the game, as cited by MilanNews, the midfielder was asked about the impact of Ibrahimovic and he had only good words to say. He pushes the players to do even more.
“Ibrahimovic? He gives great stimuli, he helps me in many ways, but he also puts me in front of difficulties to help me grow,” he stated.
