Tonali shares thoughts on Milan move: “Tonight I will sleep peacefully” – Video

Sandro Tonali is officially a Milan player. The midfielder signed his contract with the club earlier this evening and was announced shortly after. Realising his childhood dream, he was notably emotional in his first interview.

The 20-year-old was intercepted by Sky Italia (as seen in the video below) at the hotel he’s staying at and answered a few questions. Of course, he’s very excited to start his new adventure.

“I’m experiencing strong, beautiful emotions. I’m happy. We hope to continue with this enthusiasm in the coming days. It’s still a dream, since I haven’t yet worn the Milan shirt. It’s a strong emotion and tonight I will sleep peacefully and tomorrow I will train,” he stated.

He’s expected to take part in the friendly between Milan and Brescia on Saturday, which will be like a ‘derby of his heart’. Hopefully, he will be able to grow and become a great player at Milan.
