Watch: Tonali shoves Inter’s Dumfries away after foul on Theo Hernandez

By Oliver Fisher -

There were numerous flashpoints on Saturday evening during what was a fiercely contested derby between AC Milan and Inter, with Denzel Dumfries predictably involved in more than one.

Dumfries caused a stir before the game with his comments in the lead-up during which he claimed there is nobody from Milan that he fears, and the players were no doubt aware of it. Sandro Tonali – a boyhood Milanista – made sure to shove the Dutch defender well away from Theo Hernandez during the game after the Frenchman was fouled.

The Milan midfielder said (via MilanNews): “He is my team-mate, you go away. He is my team-mate, you go away. I’ll take care of it.”

  1. He really is a mix of Pirlo and Gattuso.
First he is calm and relaxed and try to tell Dumbfries to go away, and when he dont he becomes Gattuso 🤣

    Love this kid.

  2. Wow…These are players we want to see on our team…amazing to see how is trying to replicate his idol…Tonali got that…in the future the captain of Milan .. I Hope Milan will continue to grow ..so that our players do not need to leave to find glory or money somewhere else…. We are tired of seeing players who don’t love the club but playing for the club and leave for free for their own gains.. Milan of Old is all about passion and class..because we had players who are of class and passion for the club and for football

  3. Milan Glory cannot take back with players like Gigio, Calhanoglu or maybe Kessie, but with players like Tonali, Maignan, Theo, Calabria, Bennacer, Tomori, and others.
