Reports: Tonali ‘will return’ to Milan despite Barcelona contacts beginning

Sandro Tonali is the dream of all AC Milan fans, and vice versa, the midfielder dreams of a return home. However, it is not possible yet, and the road may further change. 

Since leaving Milan 18 months ago, the midfielder’s name has not faded, instead, it has probably grown more prominent. Before he left, fans and the club knew what they had, a young, elite midfielder, who loved the club.

However, with the downfall since his leave, there has been a dream to bring him back, a move that would signify change.

So now, on the verge of two years on, the talk of his return is still as large as ever, but there are other parties also in the mixer. As Mundo Deportivo (via Calciomercato.com) reports, Barcelona have a liking for Tonali, and whilst contact has not begun between the two clubs, the player’s entourage has been informed of the interest.

However, the finances of a deal would be difficult for an already financially-struggling Barca side, an issue which also plagues the chances of an Italian return in the near future, with Juventus also looking to make a move.

What is certain, as Calciomercato reports, is that he will return to Milan. The story is not over, and he and his entourage reiterate the idea, message and dream about a San Siro return. After all, certain loves do not end, they come back together stronger.
