Torino boss Juric confirms three missing players and says ‘Milan are in good form’

Torino boss Ivan Juric has said that he will be missing three players for the visit of AC Milan on Sunday and pointed out the good form of the Rossoneri.

As was said by the Croatian during his pre-match press conference on Saturday (via Milan News), the Granata are going to be without Ola Aina, Antonio Sanabria, and Emirhan Ilkhan for the 20:45 local time kick-off in Turin on Sunday.

“Aina is missing, as is Sanabria who has a problem with his soleus, Ilkhan has muscle fatigue. These are the three who are missing.”

There were hopes at Torino that Sanabria would be fit enough to make the bench on Sunday but that no longer seems to be the case.

Juric also had a lot of praise for Stefano Pioli’s Milan side who have won their last four Serie A matches and are hot on the tails of Napoli at the top of the table.

“Milan are in good form, they’ve been playing together for a while now: they are strong with many solutions, they can score in various ways.”

A player Torino must pay particular attention to is Rafael Leao but when asked about that, Juric also pointed out that Theo Hernandez is a serious threat.

“Last year Djidji did very well, while at the return we suffered. It would be better not to start him, but we also need to double up on him. There is also Theo [Hernandez], we have to be careful with him too. Leao is in a fantastic moment.”
