Torino 2-1 AC Milan: Follow the action with our live commentary

AC Milan are up against Torino this afternoon and a win is a must for Sergio Conceicao’s men, following the disastrous results earlier this week. Below, you can follow the action with our usual live commentary.

Conceicao has decided to place trust in the players who started against Feyenoord, apart from Kyle Walker who is struggling with muscle fatigue. Alex Jimenez is taking his spot on the right and is looking to continue his positive form.

Needless to say, the Rossoneri need to come away with all three points tonight to keep their spirits up in the top-four race. Lazio also drew earlier today, while Bologna lost, so hopefully they will seize the opportunity.

Unfortunately, we will have no watchalong for this game but Lorenzo and Stefano will be back soon. You can, however, follow the action with our live commentary as published on X. Let’s see if we will have a win to celebrate later tonight.

  1. Mike Maignan in prime form.
Two times he had to do something and twice he f’ed up.
It’s time for torriani or sporriello to get a chance

  2. This Maigman needs to be probe is like he is involve in match fixing because if the opponent don’t score he look for a way to give them a goal..What a useless goalkeeper

  3. Milan is more closing to Man U…great show team👏.

Come on Mr. Sergio, why played same team like against Feyenord. Felix, and Theo must be benched.

  4. I think these guys are completely uncomfortable with having a new coach other than Pioli. He was like a father to them. Pioli’s on fire, nevertheless. Now it seems like they just can’t stand the idea that somebody else has to coach them.

    1. What a rotten season. Maignan 100% responsible for their goal; Thiaw was shielding the ball for him; he didn’t need to come out of the box. Then Puli misses a PK for the first time in his professional career. Unreal. Murphy’s Law. Everything that can go wrong for Milan, does.

  5. Watching Milan play often times feels like a builder boring a hole in the wall. We make the defense of every mediocre Seria A team look like a Great Wall of China.

    1. Not Thiaw’s fault at all. He actually did well there, getting ahead of the opponent and shielding the ball for Maignan, who then committed another blunder. The goal is 100% on Maignan. At least Maignan later redeemed himself with two great saves.

    2. Haha, you are very funny my friend. Thiaw isn’t to blame for that. He was in front of his man and had it covered. There was no need for Mike to come rushing out like a headless chicken.

  6. This team needs a sports psychologist. Last four games pretty much in a row, self induced problems. Musah, Theo, Mike twice…. What the actual fcuk.

      1. They can’t play. Milan already remove from team players like Origi, Bakayoko, and Fode. All current players are much more closer to exit from team and to stay.
Problem with redbird they can’t find second solution.
And players are under pressure what gives this results.

But which team si not under pressure?

        1. They first should have employed a coach who can deal with the high pressure at a club like Milan. IMO, Sergio is too emotional, agressive and impulsive for Milan’s players. The fact is the rate of red cards and blunders has increased since he came in. I doubt it is a coincidence.
Then ofc some players need to go, and more suitable, hungrier ones need to come in. It seems that RedBird has bought players without a specific, well-defined vision of the team’s style of play.

  7. J Felix is minus one. The guy has no impact. It is better he played Gimenez and Tammy together. Tammy has workrate and he can drop to support the midfield.

We need a coach that can think out of box. Conceiceo hasn’t bring anything to this team. Sloppy passes at the final third. No rhythm no pattern; just eleven players running on the field with the hope that one of them do something extraordinary that would lead to goal.

  8. We put in too many crosses in the penalty area as if our striker was Giroud.

The team has a non-existent midfield, and as such try to cover up in every match by allowing the wingers do the creativity by pulling in crosses, playing this style too often doesn’t let us explore the speed and acceleration which Gimenez possess. He’s mobile and requires space for him to show his true value.

    1. Contract. I’m almost certain Joao Felix has been promised game time. Coaches hands are tied, he has to play him even if he’s giving a 2/10 performance

      1. Thankfully, they only got a loan without option to buy! Joao Felix was an improvisation of last minute. Now I can see why none of the other teams wanted to acquire him.

      2. Bro, you are spot on. Felix should have come off first. He was a waste of space in the second half, only a iron clad contract stipulating game time can make this happen. Maybe Sergio is blind or has a man crush.

  9. Overwork players start to buckle.
    Fofana.Puli.Reijnders.
All worn out in the 2nd half of the season.

    Poor us the fans.
Reach top 4 now like a mountain to climb

  10. This milan should jst try to avoid relegation this season because I don’t see anything good coming again this season apart from the supper Copa cup they won

  11. ES HORA DE matar a Maignan , leao , chuwu
esos putos simios troncos malos van a mandar el MILAN A LA SERIE B

    #MAIGNANout #LEAOout #sellREDBIRD

  12. Pavlovic mentality and desire is all all the milan players needed. The way he combines defensive job and attacking when in need of goal reminds me of Barcelona Pigue and Chelsea Rudigar

  13. Conceiceo must be creative and purposeful. The team lack creative midfielders. The only source of creativity is through the wings and our opponents have find us out with such style.

Way-out, Conceiceo should player a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. Let have presence in our opponents penalty area since it is very difficult to create space for our lone Stricker.

  14. Not going to lie, we deserve conference league.
We are not good enough for top 4.
It’s hard to blame conceição because he came mid season. These panic deadline moves such Felix wasn’t really productive. Hopefully we’ll clear out RLC,
