It hasn’t taken long for Tommaso Pobega to convince Torino that he is a midfielder worth investing in, but AC Milan’s stance reportedly presents an obstacle.
Pobega scored the first goal of his loan spell during a thumping win at Salernitana and produced performance of great quality against Sassuolo, meaning that the Italy U21 international has not taken long to perform at his highest level.
Calciomercato.com writes that the idea of losing Pobega at the end of the season is creating some annoyance for Torino president Urbano Cairo, given that the 22-year-old arrived on a season long dry loan from Milan.
The Granata did not manage to negotiate any kind of option to buy as part of the operation so he should therefore return to the Rossoneri at the end of the campaign. However, the sporting director Davide Vagnati hopes to be able to open a negotiation to see if Milan crack.
