Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has denied having received contact from AC Milan despite persistent speculation in the press.
The Rossoneri have apparently made Torreira their number one priority for the midfield this summer, as new head coach Marco Giampaolo dreams of a reunion with the former Sampdoria star.
Di Marzio reported on Tuesday night that Torreira now has given his full availability for a move to Milan, while reports in the media on Wednesday claimed that a swap deal involving Ricardo Rodriguez is a possibility.
However, at a press conference on international duty at the Copa America, Torreira played questions about Milan interest with a straight bat.
“I don’t know anything about interest from Milan. Nobody has called me,” said the former Sampdoria man.
“I am in the Premier League today and am happy to be part of Arsenal. It’s true, it hasn’t been easy adapting, but I am only thinking of the team now.
“I’m happy to be in London.”
