Samuel Chukwueze has returned to base after a year on loan at Fulham, with his future once again up in the air.
He made 23 appearances for Fulham, scoring three goals and providing four assists, for a total of 1,219 minutes of play. The winger has officially returned to Milanello as they have not used their option to buy him permanently.

Chukwueze’s fate undecided
As MilanVibes reported in recent days, Trabzonspor are ready to invest heavily in the Nigerian winger. According to a report by Turkish portal Milliyet, the club have already submitted an official offer of approximately €15m to Milan’s management.
The final response is awaited but should the deal prove unsuccessful, the Turkish club are reportedly ready to focus its resources on Olympiakos’ André Luiz. Nigerian website Daily Post have said that the former Villarreal man has rejected their contract offer.
Despite this stalemate, the Turkish club continue to push for Chukwueze, considering him one of their primary objectives for the season. From a coaching perspective, Rúben Amorim must decide whether he sees a use for him next season.
The Portuguese coach would like to test him on the pitch and evaluate him closely during the preseason camp in July, it seems. From a player perspective, the underlying idea is exactly the same: Chukwueze wants to try and fight for a place, with a role behind the striker perhaps well-suited.
