SempreMilan.com’s columnist Vito Angele rounds up another day of Milan’s transfer window in his daily Transfer Recap.
Check out yesterday’s recap here.
FIRST PURCHASE COMES FROM CROATIA
As written yesterday, there was little left for Mionic’s signature for the club. The contract of the midfielder, who arrives from NK Istra 1961, was deposited today. Mionic will join the Primavera team already in February. The operation was a low-cast, given that the player’s contract was expiring.
GUSTAVO GOMEZ AND BOCA
Negotiations for Gustavo Gomez’ return to Argentina are still ongoing. Another meeting took place today between both clubs. However, there has been no step forward.
The negotiations, so far, remain very difficult, but the Argentinians remain in Milano with the hope to conclude a deal. Milan, on the other hand, are expecting a stronger economic effort from Boca, which could in the end arrive.
ANTONELLI WANTS TO LEAVE
In addition to Gustavo Gomez, who is pushing for a move, Luca Antonelli also wants to leave the club. The fullback already has an agreement in principle with Fiorentina and would like to go play elsewhere.
However, for now, Milan does not want to let him go. The Rossoneri would like to sell him in June. The player’s sale could thus only be postponed. The club is already thinking about possible replacements. Rumors in England are swirling about Milan’s interest in Matteo Darmian, but he is deemed not for sale by Manchester United.
