Thiago Silva is open to securing a return to Milan this summer eight years after his exit to Paris Saint-Germain, it is claimed.
We recently revealed via Vito Angele that Milan are considering the idea of reuniting Thiago Silva with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for next season, nearly a decade after they departed Milano for the French capital.
Then, reports emerged earlier on Friday suggesting Milan have an open track if they wish to re-sign the 35-year-old as he is now leaning towards not renewing with the Ligue 1 giants and ending his career elsewhere.
According to the latest from transfer source Louis Girardi on Twitter, Thiago Silva is now ‘open’ to the idea of a return to Milan, and his agent is awaiting contacts from the club’s hierarchy.
However it appears the Rossoneri face competition, as he adds that two Premier League sides – namely Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton – are also keen on the veteran.
