Rafael Leão is now the most valuable player in Serie A having overtaken Dusan Vlahovic in market value, according to a report.
According to Transfermarkt, who sent us a press release, Serie A ‘has a new boss’ as Leao is now the leader of the market value ranking after his season as the league’s MVP. The Portuguese winger’s value has gone up €15m to €85m, having overtaken Vlahović (€80m).
In terms of squad values overall, Napoli have risen to having the third-highest in the league (+€60m), while for Juventus and Inter theirs has gone down given the mixed results of their summer transfer windows.
In terms of defenders, Pierre Kalulu’s has gone up €7m since the last update and that is second only to Kim and Scalvini (+€10m each) in terms of appreciation, which is as good a sign as any as to why Milan chose to extend his deal until 2027 as was confirmed yesterday.
Good to know, so when he walks for free in 18 months, we’ll know how much Milan lost by not extending him or selling him on time.
Stop being dense. Leao isn’t goiyto walk on a free. He’ll be sold in January.
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
Check Maldini’s history when it comes to re-signing high value players.
Leao is now great value for money. Milan must extend his contract. The option is to sell a kind of Rebic and use that money for Leao. In a year or two if Leao wants can be sold for a good price.
why do you talk like Milan have a choice?
you sound as dumb as those people who thought Dollarumma would sign
