AC Milan have the youngest team in Europe at the moment, a report claims, and it is a team achieving great things.
Milan have not lost in their last 20 games across all competitions in total including 16 in Serie A, and 16 wins overall. The Rossoneri are first in terms of points average (2.28), number of wins (17), goals conceded (23) and clean sheets (10).
In addition, Milan have scored the most goals post-lockdown with 44, higher than even the free-scoring Atalanta. In the current calendar year Milan lead the pack with 57 points in 25 games, ahead of Atalanta (56 points) and Juve (49).
Not only that, but Transfermarkt (via Calciomercato.com) report how Milan are the youngest team on the continent, at least across the ‘top five leagues’ including France, England, Germany, Spain and Italy.
The likes of Tonali, Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao, Hauge, Donnarumma and the rest give Milan’s 27-man squad an average age of 23.6.
