AC Milan have been planning to add Joshua Zirkzee to their squad since November, and for much of the time since then, they have been the leaders in the race to sign him. However, there is a chance they could lose the star to a Premier League club, so they must find a solution.
Although Milan may have led the race, at the crucial stages, they are now facing competition, which will show the club’s desire to bring him to the club, and also the thinking of the striker. It is known he prefers a move to Serie A, and the Rossoneri specifically, but his agent is stalling a move.
Whilst things are agreed with Zirkzee, and the Diavolo are happy to pay the release clause in his contract with Bologna, Kia Joorabchian is demanding a lucrative commission fee, which has caused a move to stop dead in its tracks, and the situation is worsened by news of Manchester United’s concrete interest in the player.
However, there is still time to find a solution. As Tuttosport (via Milan News) writes, in 10 days, Zirkzee’s clause is available, and if not for the agent problems, they would pay as early as July 1.
Nevertheless, the longer time passes with no solution arranged between Giorgio Furlani and Joorabchian, Milan will be left in limbo, and they could lose their primary choice, whilst also falling behind in the race for their Plan B.
I’m tired of the way these agents are. They tell them they are gonna trigger the release clause the agent ask for high commission and then a premier league club comes and enquires about the player and the agent is gonna give them a discount how is this fair??

Are you referring to his international goals because I cant remember one goal scored for us on penalty and he “only” scored 9 goals for us.
we shud use that 55mil to rather get a 10 with vision and stop using loftus as 10 rather than get this zirkzee.he is no better than okafor if used as a 9. if we use loftus as our 10 this season again we will still struggle to score goals no matter the striker we get.he is a box to bos not an attacking midfielder

He is not on loan from Real Madrid we actually do own him and can renew him as agreed in his one year contract and it wont cost us anything. The guy contributed with 9 goals and one assist in 1242 minutes combined over all tournaments which equates to 13.8 full matches played. Not sure you actually know what you are talking about. He was also unfit at the start of the season as he was visibly overweight when he arrived.
Have to disagree with you there Martin. Jovic scored 6 goals in the league – and all save for one perhaps came when he played alongside Giroud in a 2 striker system. If we are playing with 2 up top – ok. But I doubt it with Leao, Chuk Oak and Puli in the side. He’s not a fit as a number 9 in a single striker system and hasn’t been his entire career. Thats ok Juro and we doesnt have to agree upon everything but im talking about his combined contributions over all tournaments not only serie a but if we stick to only serie a then he played 23 matches over 863 minutes and scored 6 and assisted 1 which equates to 9.58 full matches and the combined outcome is 7 goals/assists combined thats a pretty good outcome.
I’m by no way arguing that he should be our primary striker but he is nevertheless a more than useful backup and it doesnt hurt to have some different forwards with different characteristics.
WE are always in the lead to sign every player then when it comes time to pay we disappear. We are that dude that keeps ordering food and drinks at dinner with his buddies then has alligator arms when it comes time to pay the check lol.
