Tuttosport: AC Milan identify Wigan defender and Lyon starlet as summer targets

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have identified two full-back targets ahead of the summer window as they seek cover, according to a report.

It is no secret that the Rossoneri were in the market for a left-back towards the end of the January window, especially after Ricardo Rodriguez sealed his departure to PSV Eindhoven.

Wigan’s Antonee Robinson travelled to Milano on deadline day morning to complete his move, but rumours began to emerge suggesting the move had hit the rocks, and Wigan then released a statement on their official website confirming that Robinson would be staying.

According to the latest from Tuttosport though – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan have not gone cold on the idea of signing the USA international and could try again at the end of the season, knowing Diego Laxalt is not a long-term solution to be Theo Hernandez’s back up.

Meanwhile, for the right-back position the Rossoneri are also apparently keen on Pierre Kalulu of Lyon. The 19-year-old has made 14 appearances in the Europe League this season so far.
