Tuttosport: Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all join pursuit of Milan star on expiring contract

By Oliver Fisher -

Gianluigi Donnarumma may not have much difficulty finding a new club after all as a number of teams have been credited with interest in him.

Donnarumma looks all set to leave Milan when his contract expires after nine years and over 250 senior appearances as the two parties were unable to come to an agreement regarding the extension of hi sdeal.

This morning’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport have claimed that there are a number of teams poised and ready to pounce, because Juventus have been joined Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG and Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the race, while English trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen.

Juve boss Max Allegri wants Donnarumma as an upgrade for Wojciech Szczesny, while PSG need to bring in competition for Keylor Navas who is also in his mid 30s. The three Premier League sides are also likely to be able to meet the wage demands of the 22-year-old.

  1. Lol all of those clubs other than probably Chelsea wouldn’t be winning trophies anytime soon. (Trophies at PSG don’t count).

What a huge downgrade just for trying to win “trophies”
