Tuttosport: Atalanta-Milan will be a Champions League clash without the anthem

AC Milan will face Atalanta at Gewiss Stadium this evening in the seventh round of Serie A. With 16 points in the bag already, the Rossoneri will be looking to continue their good run of form in the league.

Stefano Pioli’s men lost the game against Atletico Madrid mid-week but played very well until the red card, and even after. In short, they were unlucky not to get at least a point and will be looking for revenge tonight.

As highlighted by Tuttospoirt (via MilanNews), the clash against Atalanta is the perfect opportunity to bounce back as the game will be a Champions League-esque one. The famous anthem won’t be played, but it will have a strong European flavour.

It will be an interesting clash as both sides are in good form and obviously have the quality squad-wise. Milan are slight favourites, buy the looks of it, but it’s pretty much 50-50 heading into the game.
