Tuttosport: Auction to break out as Barcelona join Milan, Juventus in race for €50m teenager

By Oliver Fisher -

An auction is apparently on the horizon for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, a report claims, as another team have joined Milan in the race.

Speculation linking the Rossoneri with a move for Tonali has intensified over the past couple of weeks, with several outlets claiming that Milan will try everything to land the 19-year-old, who is a boyhood fan of the club.

Calciomercato.com even reported that Tonali’s agent is aware of interest from Milan, and an official offer to the player and Brescia will be presented once Elliott have set their budget for the operation.

However, in the background there is plenty of speculation regarding the competition. According to the latest from Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), an auction is likely to break out to sign the teenager, with at least four clubs interested.

The Turin-based outlet claims that Brescia president Massimo Cellino has set a €50m asking price for Tonali, and in addition to Milan, Inter and Juventus, Barcelona are also interested.
