Tuttosport: Ball passes to Milan as Florenzi makes desire clear regarding future

AC Milan must soon make a decision on Alessandro Florenzi’s option to buy while the player has made his intentions clear, a report claims.

After having disposed of the physical problems that plagued the start of the season, Florenzi immediately began to make an impact under head coach Stefano Pioli showing himself to be a valuable resource as a right winger, right-back and even a left-back.

However, the time has come for Milan to decide whether they want to exercise the option to buy they agreed with Roma as part of the loan deal, especially given he underwent two minor knee surgeries during the season.

As reported today by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Italy international wants to stay at Milan which passes the ball to Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. They would have to pay €4.5m to sign Florenzi permanently as per the terms of the deal, but it cannot be excluded that they go in search of a discount, perhaps leveraging his physical problems and the player’s desire to stay.

  1. Players like him and Krunić make the team much stronger when we have a lot of injuries, I’d sign him yesterday as he covers 3 positions at least and has CL experience. Most of our team never played in CL before this season.
