While working on the sale of Fode Ballo-Toure, AC Milan are looking at options to replace him and become the new deputy to Theo Hernandez.
As today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports, the sale of Ballo-Touré is expected to be closed very soon given that he is not a part of the plans and is actually attracting interest from various clubs.
The paper states that Riccardo Calafiori of Basel has been secured, meaning a verbal agreement over a deal has been found, but there is the possibility that the management will opt for an internal solution instead.
Indeed, there is the idea emerging that Davide Bartesaghi could be promoted from Ignazio Abate’s Primavera side to the first team on a more permanent basis.
Bartesaghi was taken on the tour of the USA with the first team which shows how highly regarded he is, and he even got some playing time off the bench.
I look forward to selling Bartesaghi to Empoli or Sassuolo for 1m and to a top 4 competitor buying him for >20m

For me it’s good to have specific players from the academy because they don’t cost anything they can be trained to become first or second option and more money would put in for players that bought. Also easier to cope if a crisis could happen so yh Barteseghi Zeroli Chaka Traore Victor Eletu Simic Bakoune Bozzolan Coubis some of them or let’s be specific at least three players of these names could be good for the team so let’s hope that Pioli has change of Heart and develop players from the academy
