Tuttosport: Belotti fades as a target for Milan with Roma now in pole position – the reason

AC Milan appear to have gone cold on the potential of signing Andrea Belotti in order to focus on a different target, a report claims.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) focuses on the future of Belotti and suggests that Roma are now the most likely destination for the Italian striker, given that new boss Jose Mourinho wants a new striker and is a big admirer of il Gallo.

Roma are ready to move for Belotti as a result and despite the rumours of strong competition from Milan, the Giallorossi appear to be on pole because the Rossoneri management to have moved away from the track that leads to Belotti and are instead in talks over another striker.

Maldini and Massara believe that Giroud is the right profile, and the French striker just last night won the Champions League with Chelsea. His contract is about to expire and he is no longer part of the plans of Tuchel. Negotiations are underway between Milan and his entourage.
