Tuttosport: Betis must lower demands to facilitate January move for Milan target

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have set their sights on Juan Miranda for the left-back position as Theo Hernandez doesn’t have a proper deputy. The Spaniard could arrive in January but only on one condition, as a report claims.

Miranda’s contract will expire at the end of the season and although this has fueled Milan’s interest, they have been following the player for quite some time. A move already in January cannot be ruled out at the moment, as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews).

Real Betis have not budged from their €10m demand, though, and this is something that will need to change to make the move possible. Milan appear willing to pay almost half of that, otherwise they will wait until the summer and sign the 23-year-old for free.

Hernandez remains the only left-back in the squad for now, not counting the youngster Davide Bartesaghi, and the need for rest has been evident this season. Therefore, a new deputy is certainly one of the priorities for Milan.
