Rade Krunic has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce and although the Turkish side’s first offer was deemed too low, AC Milan are looking at replacements. On their list, they have two Bologna players.
As we reported this morning, Fenerbahce have an agreement with Krunic and made a first offer of €4m. The midfielder has asked Milan to give him a pay rise or evaluate the sale, but the Rossoneri will not accept such a low offer.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), in the event of Krunic’s exit, Milan have three targets on their list. The first two are Nicolas Dominguez and Jerdy Schouten of Bologna, who have both done well in the games against the Rossoneri.
The third and final name is Ibrahima Sissoko, who plays for Strasbourg. However, as things stand, Krunic will stay at Milan given that Fenerbahce haven’t even come close to the request of €12-15m.
Realistically if adli goes, it is crucial to get another midfielder as all we’ve got is RLC, Reijnders, Musah, Krunic and pobega at that point, and it scares me that Krunic could be a protagonist because as much as I appreciate his versatility he’s really not great and shouldn’t be a regista for us
Adli is as good as gone, he was barely used in the friendlies, we had primavera players that played more.
Maignan, Theo, Tomori, Kalulu, Kjaer, Thiaw, Saelemaekers,
Krunic ,Bennacer, Reijndeers, Loftus-Cheek, Leao, Pulisic, Chukwueze,Giroud, Okafor
That is 16 non Italy home-grown players and I’m not counting CDK who’s probably leaving and Ballo-Toure, Adli, Messias.
We can have a max of 17 players that are not Italy-grown, so _if_ CDK leaves we can get another player.
Sale krunic and buy Dominguez, cause krunic is not the type of player we like.
we dont like him but clearly pioli does. idk what is in his right mind that he never asked for a proper DM? every solid team has a good DM. i also think everyone would love to see Dominguez joining
I think it is more of a better fit. I think we all like Krunic, he has been a good team player, does OK whenever he is called. But in a 4-3-3 the middle guy needs to be strong defensively. That isnt Krunic. Dominguez is. (Musah has done well on that role for the US. At Valencia though, he plays slightly differently. But out of the ones we have, He’s the most “defensive”
Krunic is very unlikely to go anywhere unless he causes salary problems, so this story is redundant. I will have to look up somewhere what is the highest entry transfer to a club from the Turkish League, because any business with them is roughly “if you can, please, as cheaply as possible, preferably for free”!
The biggest signing in Turkish league, is Jerdel for €17.05m in 2000, from Porto to Galatasaray..
That 12-15 mil request must be media fabrication. Even a super rich Saudi club wouldn’t pay that.
If Milan can get 6 mil for Krunic they should throw a parade.
Galatasaray paid 6 mil for Lucas Torreria and 3 mil for Sergio Oliveira last summer.
I totally agree with you. Krunic isn’t worth €10m. I think if an offer for €7m comes, Milan would accept it.
I don’t see the essence of Musah since we shall go back to 4-2-3-1.We could have prioritize koop, Ricci or Dominguez first. Thaugh we have already bought him let’s forget Dommy and Ricci, koop is 40M. Total dilemma.
