Tuttosport: Camarda expected to get important minutes against Real Madrid

By Oliver Fisher -

The tour in the USA continues for AC Milan and tonight there will be a very interesting test against Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, one that Francesco Camarda could take part in.

Camarda arrived in the USA a few days ago having decided not to have a vacation following his participation in the U19 European Championship with Italy. He joined the squad in New Jersey on Monday evening and yesterday he had his first training session under Paulo Fonseca.

According to Tuttosport (via Radio Rossonera), it is not just a token call-up by Fonseca. Camarda should not start from the beginning against Los Blancos, but should get some playing time in the second half so the new coach can have a look at him.

After another excellent campaign in which he confirmed his status as perhaps the brightest talent in Italy, the 16-year-old will now look to show Fonseca and the Milan fans that he is not far off being first team ready.

If he were to take the field in the second half, he could find himself facing players such as Arda Guler and Endrick, who are not much older than him but continue to be talked about a lot.
