Tuttosport: Chelsea forward is Milan’s back-up plan in case of failure to land CDK

AC Milan still believe they can get a deal for Charles De Ketelaere over the line but they have an alternative in mind for if things fall through, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) there is still a small gap between Milan and Club Brugge that must be bridged if De Ketelaere is to join soon, as the Rossoneri have offered €32m while the demand is €35m.

The belief is that the situation will have a conclusion by the end of this week as Milan cannot wait any longer given they are in a hurry to give Stefano Pioli a reinforcement for the attack. Therefore, if they do not feel De Ketelaere will arrive, they will turn to Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.

Chelsea would like to sell the Morocco international outright or on a loan with obligation to buy set at €25m. Milan would instead prefer a paid loan with option to buy, but there is another salary too as Ziyech wants €6m net per season. The Premier League side could however cover part of his salary.

  1. And it’s the same story again. How to strengthen a team without money, and how to get a player to play for biscuits and milk !?

  2. I just don’t understand this Milan management anymore 😫 how there you are catching Cruise in the market from Botman(gone), Noa Lang, De ketelaere, Sanches and Scamaca will become a story so you think ziyech of 28yr-old is the best of option 😭💀💀💀💀 over de ketelaere and Noa Lang. Is better you gives Daniel Maldini the chance and support .
