Tuttosport: Further confirmations arrive on Maldini’s loan – signing imminent

By Isak Möller -

Daniel Maldini is one step away from leaving AC Milan on a temporary basis, set to sign for fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona. It should be a very good experience for the youngster, who needs playing time.

The attacking midfielder didn’t get that much space this past season but he did manage to score an important goal (equaliser vs. Spezia). He also showed glimpses of what he can do on a good day, but not enough for Stefano Pioli to use him often.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Maldini’s loan move to Verona is now just one step away. An agreement has been reached between all parties and only the signing is missing, which should arrive shortly.

The formula, as stated, will be a loan and in the case that there is a buy-out clause, Milan will also have a buy-back. It would be similar to Lorenzo Colombo’s move to Lecce, in that sense.

  1. its sad, but Daniel needs it to grow. Pobega also went through it and made him stronger player to play at ACM.

Manuel Locatelli also grows a lot when moved to Sassuolo (sadly we dont have buyback clause). See How much is Locatelli Worth now.
